Cathy Coleson Cobo, 64, formerly of Columbia, NC and most recently a resident of Columbia, SC, died, Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, SC.

Cathy was born in Norfolk, VA, June 7, 1955 to the late Kenneth and Bobby Barnes Coleson. She was married to Tony Cobo who survives.

She was a dedicated worker serving as a manager in retail sales. She was known for her welcoming spirit, always opening her door to anyone who needed a place to stay, and she enjoyed playing Bingo and watching dolphins.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Bryan Funeral Service- Columbia, Chapel. Thomas Biggs will officiate.

In addition to her husband surviving are three sons Brian Nicholson and wife, Hannah of Roper, Toby Coleson and Stetson Sexton both of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Tyler Coleson, Peyton Nicholson, Keeley Pinner, Crystal Coleson, Eli Nicholson, Emma Nicholson, Preston Sexton and Cooper Coleson; three brothers, James Young of Columbia, Donald Coleson of Panama City, FL and Ricky Young of Jamesville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Coleson.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Brian and Hannah Nicholson, 4518 Pea Ridge Road, Roper, NC
