Edward B. Warren
September 28, 1934 – July 1, 2019

Edward Bell Warren, 84, of Plymouth, gained his wings to heaven, Monday, July 1, 2019, at Roanoke Landing Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with is grandson, Justin Warren holding his hand as he passed to go to his heavenly home.

Born in Bertie County, September 28, 1934, he was the son on the late Vance and Ruth Warren. He was married to the former Doreen Phelps, who preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Hope Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor Leonard Bowers will officiate. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor.

He loved to play his guitar, write music and sing his favorite song “One Red Rose” and now, he is singing in the heavenly choir.

Surviving is a son Keith Warren and wife, Sherry of Edenton, a daughter in-law, Patsy Warren of Plymouth; two grandsons, Justin Warren of Plymouth and Waylon K. Warren and wife, Amanda of Washington; one great-grandson, Riley Warren; two brothers, Larry Warren of Morehead City and VG Warren of Richmond, VA.

He was preceded in death by a son Daniel K. Warren.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the care provided to Mr. Warren during this time and to Shellie Cahoon and Amy Tinker           

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service at Hampton Academy, Plymouth.
