In my mind I feel like I should know Mr. Roy. I have been gone from Columbia for about 50yrs. My dad was James Payne, he had the shoe shop in Columbia. My brother was Terry Payne who got killed in Vietnam. I want to tell you how sorry I am for you loss. I do know how the children feel to lose their dad. Look up and the Father will see you through this loss and a broken heart. My dad also died on December 8th

Mrs.Peggy,Sherry,Sarah,Brandon,Sharon, and the rest of the family,
So sorry to hear of your loss.Mr.Roy was such a character and always made me giggle when we would come visit our Granny and Pa Edwards in the summers. I'm sure he wasn't as tall as I remember him being, but when your a kid and you look up to someone like we did Mr.Roy, the person seems so much larger. He was a good man and was always ready with a smile. We will be praying for your family and the strength to get through your loss.
