DORIS C. STOTESBERRY
December 13, 1943 – April 18, 2016

Doris Cuthrell Stotesberry, 72, of 9640 N. C. Highway 45, the Ponzer Community, Belhaven, died early Monday, April 18, 2016, at Vidant-Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

Born in Beaufort County, December 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Gaskins Cuthrell. She was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ and a former member of Ponzer Ruritan Club.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Linton Family Cemetery near Sidney Cross Roads. Mike Caton will officiate.

Surviving are a son, Billy Stotesberry of the Ponzer Community; two sisters, Mildred Young and Pam Burbage both of Pinetown; two brothers, James Allen Cuthrell of Pinetown and George Cuthrell of Bath; and one granddaughter, Amanda Stotesberry.

The family will visit with friends following the service on Wednesday.
