Arch B. Browning
April 6, 1934 – September 9, 2026

Arch Boyd Browning, 92, of Plymouth, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his dear family.

Arch was born in Webster County, West Virginia, on April 6, 1934, to the late Arch Boyce and Gertrude Tawney Browning. He was married to Joan Herman Peacock, who preceded him in death and later married the late Ethel Bowen.

Arch was an elder of Zion's Chapel Church of Christ and honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Zion's Chapel Church of Christ.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, at the church.

Surviving is a son, Scott Browning (Phyllis) of Williamston; two daughters, Winnie B. O'Neil (Steve) of Williamston, and Tawney B. Wright (Eric) of Fletcher, NC; six grandchildren, Casey Price (Jason), Daniel Bartley (Bailee), Gene Monrow (Meghan), Caleb Ambarose, Sierra Cooper, and Kaeleigh Bartley; and five great-grandchildren, Connor Bartley, Everlee Bartley, Jason Price II, Emily Cooper, Ian Cooper,

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary B. Yeager.
