AUTUMN  E.  ARMSTRONG
December 13, 1977 – April 1, 2018

Autumn Lee Edwards Armstrong, 40, of 4137 Soundside Road, Columbia, died at her residence on Sunday, April, 1, 2018.

Born in Scottsville, Kentucky, on December 13, 1977, she was the daughter of Richard and Gwen W. Edwards who survive in Columbia.  She was a graduate of Columbia High School, attended Pitt Community College and was a former director with Tyrrell County Board of Elections. She was a member of Soundside Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Soundside Missionary Baptist Church.  Rev. Stephen Duncan and Rev. Joseph Wynns will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a son, Caleb Lee Armstrong and daughter,  Caylee Dawn Armstrong, both of Columbia;  her paternal grandparents, Clarence Richard Edwards, Sr. and Maxine Edwards of Hillsborough; a brother, Joseph Lee Edwards and wife, Candy of Columbia and fiancée Mike Johnson of Columbia.

Autumn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John Harper Woodard, Winnie Spruill  Brickhouse and Duard Brickhouse.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Service – Columbia Chapel and other times at the home of her parents, 4021 Soundside Road.
