Constance Ann Jarvis
September 9, 1948 – December 13, 2023

Constance "Connie" A. Jarvis, 75, of Engelhard, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Connie was born in Fort Belvoir, VA to the late Clarence Alton and Ruby Lee Faircloth Swain.  She was married to Bobby Andrew Jarvis, Sr. who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship where she was very active and even served as a trustee.  She more recently attended the Engelhard Christian Church.  Her working years were spent as a cook in a childcare facility. Connie loved the Lord. She loved singing, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby A. Jarvis, Jr. of Arden, NC, and Troy A. Jarvis and wife Julie of Kill Devil Hills, NC; five grandchildren:  Lauren Jarvis, Kayla Jarvis, Ryan Jarvis, Preston Jarvis, and Cuyler Hopkins and husband Kevin;  three great-grandchildren:  Jameson Jarvis, Jackson Jarvis and Theodora "Theo" Hopkins; and three sisters:  Sandra S. Gibbs and husband Jimmy of Engelhard, Sylvia Bell Harris of Barco, NC, and Pamela L. Faulkner and husband George of Somerset, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her infant son, Roy A. Jarvis.
