Darrell Alvin Layne, 57, of the Scranton Community, died, Friday, September 7, 2018.

Darrell was born in Delaware County, Indiana, September 5, 1951. He was the son of the late Ernest Ray and Zelma Clift Layne.

Funeral services will be held in Muncie, Indiana by Parsons Mortuary.

Surviving is a son, James Allen Layne and wife, Shelley; a daughter, Kimberly D. Grayson and husband Jacob; two brothers, Wendell R. Layne and wife, Phyllis, Randy Layne and wife, Brenda all of Muncie, Indiana; a sister Brenda L. Clem and husband, Carl of Scranton, NC; two grandchildren, Michael Seth Grayson, Crystal Rose Grayson; a special friend, Wanda Richardson and several nieces and nephews.
