David Rickey Spencer
August 24, 1951 – February 28, 2018

David Rickey Spencer passed February 28th at 7:45 p.m. at the Hospice House in Greenville. He was born August 24th 1951 in Tyrrell County Hospital in Columbia. He is the son of Agnes Agatha Gibbs and Elmer Carl Spencer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years E. Merita Lewis – Spencer, one son Corey Spencer and much loved daughter in law, Sara.

He is survived by two brothers and one sister. Graham and wife Sharon of Fairfield, Wanda S. Thigpen and husband Mitchell of Fountain, Carl and wife Elaine of Fairfield. Nephews and nieces: Andy Spencer, Sherri S. Cox and husband Kane, Derek Spencer and wife Amber, Melissa S. Sanders and husband Jared, Rachel S. Clark and husband Harry. Great nieces and nephews, Michael, River, Trista, Colby, Isaac, Raelynn, Kensley, Benjamin, Aida and Lili.

Honoring his request there will be no funeral service. Family and friends may feel free to stop by his home Saturday or Sunday.
