DONALD A. WISEMAN
June 2, 1938 – May 21, 2017

Donald Adam Wiseman, 78, of 2995 Nebraska Road, Engelhard, died Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

Born in Mitchell County, N. C. on June 2, 1938, he was the son of the late Roy and Annie Sullins Wiseman. He was married to Nancy Payne Mann Wiseman who preceded him in death.

Don moved to Hyde County in the 1970's to supervise the farming at the former White Tail Farms. Through the years, he was engaged in farming with other farmers in the county. He was a member of Watson's Chapel United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Watson's Chapel United Methodist Church. Pastor Jerald Craddock will officiate. Private inurnment will be held later in Soule Cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, Eddie H. Mann and Billie M. Mann and wife, Pam all of Engelhard; a daughter, Janet Elizabeth Wiseman of Irmo, SC; grandchildren, Kaitlyn M. Jones and husband, Bryce of Winterville and Kristen M. Ireland and husband, Robbie of Engelhard; great-grandchildren, Layla Ireland and Lileigh Ireland.

The family will visit with friends following the memorial service and The Olde Store across the road from the church.
