Edna Deal Equils
July 20, 1930 – January 20, 2021

Edna Earle Deal Equils, 90, of Swan Quarter, died, Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Cross Creek Health Care.

Mrs. Equils was born in Hyde County, July 20, 1930, to the late Earl Deal and Ruby Gibbs.  She was married to Zonnie Eugene Equils who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Scranton Christian Church where she loved to attend each Sunday.

Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and tending to her flowers.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the family plot at Radcliff Cemetery in Belhaven, NC. Pastor Mike Wheeler will officiate.

Surviving is one sister, Lois D. Cahoon of Scranton, and two brothers, Durwood Deal, and Robert Deal both of Washington, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Annie D. Nixon.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on, Friday, January 22, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
