Hirotami "Tom" Marikawa
March 14, 1950 – March 15, 2016
Hirotami "Tom" Marikawa, 66, of 105 Broad Street, Columbia, died Tuesday at his residence.
Born in Japan, March 14, 1950 he was married to Victorina Murillo Alvarado who survives.
Tom was owner and operator of the Chuck Wagon Restaurant for many years, he was an easy going soul that enjoyed cooking, shopping, fishing, playing the guitar and the clarinet. His easy going laid back joking personality gave him a special connection with the children.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday at All Souls Mission Catholic Church, Columbia. Father Amaro will officiate. There is no burial scheduled at this time.
Surviving is his wife Victorina M. Alvarado; a stepson, Jonathan Yamari Murillo of Jalisco, Mexico; a stepdaughter, Iris Alejandra Murillo of Jalisco, Mexico; a step granddaughter, Victoria Thaily Murillo of Jalisco, Mexico; a brother, Hidetaka Kosaka of Japan.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 pm at All Souls Mission Catholic Church.

Hirotami "Tom" Marikawa, 66, de 105 Broad Street, Columbia, fallecio el Martes 15 de Marzo del 2016, en su casa de habitacion.
Nacio en Japon el 14 de Marzo de 1950, estaba casado con Victorina Murillo Alvarado.
Por muchos años Tom fue el dueño y operador del restaurante Chuck Wagon, el era una persona muy pasiva a la cual le encantab la cocina, las compras, la pesca, tocar su guitarra y el clarinete. Tom tenia una personalidad que agradaba a los niños.
Los servicios funebres se llevaran acabo alas 6:00 pm el dia Viernes en la iglesia católica All Souls Mission en Columbia con el padre Amaro.
Sobreviven su esposa, Victorina M. Alvarado; su hijastro, Jonathan Yamari Murillo de Jalisco, Mejico, su hijastra, Iris Alejandra Murillo de Jalisco, Mejico, su nieta, Victoria Thaily Murillo y su hermano, Hidetaka Kosaka de Japon.
La vela se llevara acabo el dia Jueves 17 de Marzo a las 6:00 pm en la iglesia católica All Souls Mission de Columbia.
