James R. Fowler

James Ronald Fowler, 79, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Tyrrell House Assisted Living, Columbia.

Ron was born on September 15, 1946, in Johnston County, NC, to the late Julius and Mamie Adock Fowler. He worked as an Administrative Analyst with International Business Machine Corporation (IBM) and honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War (1967-1970).

No services will be scheduled.

Surviving are a brother, Cecil Fowler of Virginia Beach, Va and a sister, Laura Perry of Florida.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald J. Fowler.
