Kyle W. Smith
February 13, 1995 – March 6, 2024

Kyle Warren Smith, 29, of Columbia, died, unexpectedly Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his residence.

Kyle was born in Chowan County, on February 13, 1995, to Joey and Cathy Johnson Smith.  Kyle loved life, his job, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, animals, and being around people sharing his funny sense of humor. He had a passion for snow skiing and snowboarding. Above all Kyle was known for his kind heart and his love for his family.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister Kelci Smith of Greenville, paternal grandmother, Lexine Smith of Columbia, maternal grandmother, Deanne Johnson of Columbia, his step-grandmother, Sandy Johnson of Smithfield, NC; four uncles, David Smith (Lisa) of Greenville, Mark Smith (Melinda) of Greenville, Edwin Johnson (Nerissa) of Gum Neck, Tyler Johnson of Raleigh and one aunt, Maggie Cox (Addison) of Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph W. Smith, Sr., and his maternal grandfather, George Johnson.
