LOIS HANDSHOE
November 7, 1941 – June 27, 2018

Verla Delores (Lois) Handshoe, 77, a resident of Cross Creek Health Care Center in Swan Quarter, died Wednesday night, June 27, 2018, at Cross Creek.

Born in McDowell County, West Virginia on November 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Oakley and Leddie Wright Handshoe.  She worked in management in the dry cleaning business during her working years.

Her survivors include daughters, Vicky Kallam and husband, Bill of Saluda, VA, Carolyn Bruffy and husband, Ron of Middlesex, VA and Shelly Mann and husband, Lee of Fairfield NC; eleven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

Special thanks to Cross Creek Health Care where she had been a resident for six years and for all the service and commitment of Amedysis Hospice and Abigail Marshall and all the staff at Cross Creek.
