LOIS E. SHULL
August 8, 1936 – July 18, 2016

Lois Elizabeth Leach Shull, 79, died at her home, 121 Shoreline Road, Columbia, on Monday evening, July 18, 2016.

Born in Philadelphia PA, August 8, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hurry and Elizabeth Williams Leach. Married to Joseph Leslie Shull, she was a retired bank teller. They moved to Tyrrell County in the late 1990's from New Jersey and operated Gifts of Love Thrift Shop in Creswell until her retirement.

A memorial service will be held in New Jersey at a later date.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Joseph L. Shull, Jr. and wife, Perlin of Columbia; a daughter, Dianne E. Smith and husband, Leonard of Franklinville NJ; a brother, Thomas Harry Leach of Audubon, NJ and a sister, Nancy L. Fishburn of Audubon, NJ; six grandchildren, John DiLorenzo, Joey DiLorenzo, George Fulmer, Donna Dewhurst, James David Shull and Jazlyn Ann Shull; three great-grandchildren, Colton Shull, Jacob Davenport and Joshua Davenport.

The family will receive friends at the home and arrangements are entrusted to Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia Chapel.
