Lucille Sadler Jones, 89, of Engelhard, died Friday, August 19, 2016, at her residence.

Born in the community of Rose Bay, May 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charlie R. and Pearl Harris Sadler. She was married to Bill Jones, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Monday, August 22, 2016 at the family plot in Soule Cemetery. Rev. C.L. Reynolds and Steve Bryan will officiate.

Surviving are two sons, Avner Jones of Gull Rock, Charlie Jones and wife Carolyn of Fairfield; two daughters, Sue J. Harper and husband Bobby of Bath, Cathy J. Ireland and husband Robbie of Engelhard; 12 grandchildren, Eddie Jones, Benny Jones, Ginger Byrd, Adam Jones, Scott Harper, Michael Harper, Robbie J. Ireland, Joseph Ireland, Edwin Spencer, Ricky Spencer and Keri Hodges; thirty two great grandchildren; six great- great grandchildren; a brother, Travis Sadler and wife Chris of Washington; eight nephews; five nieces and her special friend and caretaker, Wanda Blunt.

She was preceded in death by a son Myron E. Jones, Jr.; a great grandson Zachary Jones; four brothers, Robert Lee Sadler, Gaston Bell Sadler, Lindsey Warren Sadler and Mac Deree Sadler; two sisters, Hazel Worthman and Kathleen McKinney.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
