Marcus Dayshon Bowling, 23, of Greenville, NC passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, in Engelhard, NC.

Marcus Bowling was born on December 8, 1999, in Durham, NC to Amanda Bowling.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Bryan Funeral Service in Swan Quarter, NC.  No services will be scheduled at this time.

Marcus was a handsome young man with a beautiful smile.  He loved working on the water and was a hard worker. He was a good friend that could always make you smile.  He loved children and spending time with his family that he loved.  He was a protector of his sisters.

He is survived by his mother, Amanda Bowling of Chester, VA; his grandmother, Gracie Bowling of Engelhard, NC; a brother, Charles Foy, Jr. of Durham, NC; three sisters, Jazzmine Maddox and husband Deone of Fayetteville, NC, Alexas Simpson and CeeJay Holley of Greenville, NC, and Alissa Clay of Kinston, NC; two nieces, Ki'Mani Spencer of Fairfield, NC, and Ramona Maddox of Fayetteville, NC; two nephews, Nathan Foy of Engelhard, NC and Lucas Maddox of Fayetteville, NC; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
