Milton R. Kilgore
January 22, 1937 – September 11, 2021

Milton Ray Kilgore "Uncle Milton" died, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at his residence.

He was born in Chesapeake, Virginia to the late Emmett Nathaniel and Katie Frances Beasley Kilgore. He was married to the former Virginia Kay Armstrong who preceded him in death.

He attended Cabin Swamp Church of Christ.

He enjoyed listening to country music and riding and making deliveries with his nephew Tim. He loved to tinker with electronics and his quiet time at the farm cabin. He was a friend to all, and he was affectionately known as Uncle Milton.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2021, at Cabin Swamp Church of Christ. Pastor Greg Brookins will officiate. Inurnment will take place at the family plot at Azalea Memorial Gardens.

Surviving is a son, Devin Shawn Kilgore; a sister, Carolyn Faye Harwood; three nephews, Timothy Spruill, Anthony Harwood, and David Harwood; a great-niece, Tricia Coleson, and two great-nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister Betty Jean Kilgore Spruill.
