Monica Marie Davis Hewitt, 44, of 108 North Road Street, Columbia, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville after a lengthy illness.

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, March 27, 1972, she was the daughter of Ronald Archie and Katherine Nancy Trower Davis who survive in Manteo. She was married to Dewayne Lee Hewitt, Jr. who survives in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Columbia Chapel of Bryan Funeral Service and the family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service.

Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are a son, Cody Hewitt and his fiancé, Hollie Ambrose of Columbia; a daughter, Tiffany Hewitt of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Donald Davis and Ronald Davis, both of Virginia.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia.
