Ralph G. Cuthrell, Jr.

Ralph Gray Cuthrell, Jr., 96, of Fairfield, died on, Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Cross Creek Health Care Center, Swan Quarter.

Ralph was born in Pasquotank County on June 26, 1924, to the late Ralph Gray, Sr. and Lilliam Cuthrell. He was married to Bonnie Armstrong who preceded him in death.

He attended Fairfield Christian Church and for the last seventy years, he was a member of the former Fairfield Masonic Lodge #520 AF & AM and most recently a member of the Atlantic Lodge #294 AF & AM.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Surviving is a daughter Patricia C. Smith and husband Chuck of Fairfield; a son-in-law, John B. Willis; three grandchildren, Amy W. Jordan and husband, T.J. of Albemarle, Charles A. Bush and Jarret T. Bush and wife Crystal both of Manteo, and three great-grandchildren, Joshua Betka, Julie Marie Bush, and Sarah Ann Bush.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia C. Willis; a brother, Charles A. Cuthrell, and two sisters, Willine C. Gibbs and Mollie Hopper.
