Rani D. Beasley
August 13, 1947 – January 17, 2019

Rani Jonelle Deaner Beasley, 71, of the Ponzer Community, died unexpectedly, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her residence.

Rani was born in Lynchburg, VA, August 13, 1947 to the late Frank and Anita Williams Deaner and she was married to Clyde Beasley who survives.

She was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ, worked as a Computer Analyst for the United States Navy until her retirement, was a member of the Ponzer Ruritan Club, Ponzer Volunteer Fire Department and dedicated five years to the Hyde County Board of Elections by working at the polls.

Rani loved her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In addition to her husband surviving are two sons, Jeff Graves of Tampa FL, Christopher Graves of Virginia Beach, VA; a step son, Clyde Thomas Beasley of Greenville; two sisters, Anita Williams of Bradenton, FL and Monica Bland of Sanford, NC; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
