December 29, 1979 – March 30, 2018

René Alexander Deltgen, 38, of Columbia, died suddenly on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Vidant Hospital, in Greenville.

Born in Cologne, Germany, he is survived by his parents, Dr. Florian Deltgen and Edith Elisabeth Deltgen, née Dohmen.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2 pm at the Chapel of Bryan Funeral Service Columbia.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Deltgen and a sister, Tanja Bogojawlensky.

The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service and later at their home at 2063 Levels Road, Columbia by invitation.

If you wish to bring flowers, please bring a perennial potted plant that will later be planted in a memorial garden.
