Robert Neal Burrus, 64, of Swan Quarter, NC, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026.

Robert served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Following his discharge, he returned to Hyde County to work with Etheridge Oil and Gas.

Robert is survived by his mother, Delia N. Burrus; his sister, Vickie Burrus, and his faithful friend and companion, Joe Dirt.

Per his request, there will not be a service.
