Scott R. Sadler
March 26, 1956 – April 22, 2017

Scott Rodney Sadler, 61, of Swan Quarter, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Beaufort County, March 26, 1956, he was the son of the late Ottis Earl and Marjorie Gibbs Sadler. He was married to the former Vicki Cahoon who survives.

He was a member of Soule United Methodist Church.

He was a farmer and a grain buyer.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the family plot in Soule Cemetery. Jerald Craddock will officiate.

In addition to his wife surviving are two daughters, Christy L. Sadler and Karen A. Sadler; a daughter in law, Mindy Sadler, all of Swan Quarter; six grandchildren, Ciara Barfield, Molly Zedd, Makenzie Sadler, Kloey Sadler, Kaylee Sadler and Kollin Sadler; two sisters, Veronica S. Marshall and husband Martelle of Engelhard, Deborah S. Hodges and husband Binnie of Swan Quarter.

He was preceded in death by a son Nicholas "Nick" Scott Sadler.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
