Sharon K. Berry
May 18, 1954 – July 29, 2018

Sharon Kay Phelps Berry, 64, of Scranton and most recently a resident of Cross Creek Health Care Center, died, Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Born in Washington County, May 18, 1954, she was the daughter of the late John and Freda Duncan Phelps. She was married to Oscar Dean Berry, Sr., who preceded her in death.

She was a member of Eunice Chapel Church of Christ and she was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed shopping and attending church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Eunice Chapel Church of Christ. Thomas Biggs will officiate. Burial will follow in the Beulah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving is a son, Oscar Dean "DJ" Berry, Jr., of Scranton; two daughters, Darlene B. Williams and husband, Tiny of Scranton, Melissa Berry and Brenda Brickhouse "BJ" of Belhaven; a sister, Wanda Phelps of Chocowinity; four grandchildren, Brendan Berry, Jacob Berry, James Berry and John Berry.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Paul.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
