Shirley Ann Schwartz Tracey, 83, of 126 Second Street, Swan Quarter, died late Friday at Vidant-Beaufort Hospital, Washington.

Born in Marion County, West Virginia on February 16, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John and Olive Shaver Schwartz. She was married to Robert Tracey who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and loving Mom, who moved to Swan Quarter from Pennsylvania to be near her daughter after her husband's death.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Bryan Funeral Service in Swan Quarter. Pastor Sonny Furrow will officiate.

Surviving are a daughter, Connie Ann Tracey of Swan Quarter; a foster son, Allen Jefferson Atwood of Indiana, Pa.; two grandchildren, Barrow Arthur Koslosky of Salisbury, N.C. and Rhett Valance Koslosky of Pensboro, WVa; two great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Engel Koslosky and Lauren Mullenis; several special nieces and nephews, Delores Parsons, John Schwartz, Lisa Denny, Polly Schwartz, Lynn Overby, Linda Meadows and Wanda Schwartz,.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Johnny Schwartz, Mary Sumner, Helen Harman, Frieda Bell, Dickie Schwartz, Clarence Ray Schwartz and Melvin Schwartz..

The family will visit with friends following the service on Wednesday and other times at the home.
