Suzanne D. Willis
April 9, 1949 – July 2, 2020

Suzanne Ruth Davis Willis, 71, of Columbia died, July 2, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

Suzanne was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on April 9, 1949.  She was the daughter of the late Lorraine Tidgeon. . She was married to Carl Linwood Willis who survives.

She was a member of Soundside Missionary Baptist Church.

She worked as a teacher assistant for the Tyrrell County public school system. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, playing softball, a good cappuccino, and gathering with friends.

A private graveside service will be held at the family plot in the Soundside Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Charlie Rice will officiate.

In addition to her husband, surviving is her step-father Eugene Ringdon, two sons, Carl Eugene Willis and wife Paula of Plymouth, Dwayne Willis of Wilmington; three step great grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Davis and wife Estrell of Palm Beach, FL; two sisters, Pearl Howdyshell and husband Bill of Kannapolis, NC, and Vicky Brice of Connecticut.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Soundside Missionary Baptist Church.
