Teresa E. Reynolds
September 26, 1980 - July 9, 2026

Teresa Elaine Reynolds, of Columbia, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the age of 45.

Born on September 26, 1980, at Chowan Hospital in Edenton, North Carolina, Teresa was the daughter of Eddie Garland Reynolds and Sheila Elaine Brickhouse Reynolds of Columbia.

She graduated with honors from Columbia High School before continuing her education at College of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City, where she earned two degrees.

Teresa dedicated nearly 31 years of service to Columbia Pharmacy, beginning her career there at just 15 years old. Through hard work, compassion, and commitment, she became a Certified Pharmacy Technician and a familiar, trusted face to generations of customers. She genuinely cared about the people she served and took great pride in helping others until declining health brought her career to an end.

Though Teresa never married, her life was filled with things she loved deeply. Her greatest love was her Daddy, with whom she shared a special bond. She also adored her faithful cat, Shadow, and found peace and happiness at the beach, where she loved listening to the waves and enjoying the beauty of the North Carolina coast.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Garland Reynolds, and her nephew, Troy Ashby Reynolds.

She is survived by her mother, Sheila Elaine Brickhouse Reynolds; her brothers, Hank Reynolds (Shannon) and Sonny Reynolds; her nephews, Quinton Reynolds, Brendon Reynolds, Tucker Reynolds, Cameron Reynolds, and Cutter Reynolds; her niece, Sailor Reynolds; and her great-nieces, Penelope Reynolds and Posey Reynolds. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, coworkers, and customers whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Teresa will be remembered for her intelligence, quiet strength, dedication to her work, and the kindness she showed to those around her. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at Soundside Free Will Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, July 13, 2026, at Bryan Funeral Service.
