THOMAS L. KIRKMAN, SR.
November 22, 1933 – June 26, 2018

Thomas Lewis Kirkman Sr., 84, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2018 at his residence in Jamesville, N.C.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a retired entrepreneur and football coach of 30 years for several schools.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Charlotte Ann Simpson Kirkman, his daughter, Mary DeNean Kirkman, his brother, John C. Kirkman, Jr. and his parents.

He is survived by his children: Greg Phelps, Thomas Kirkman II, Nolan Kirkman and wife, Emily and Ramona K. Armstrong and husband, Wesley;  his sister, Lina K. Hamilton and eight grandchildren: Bobby, Mark, MaryAnn, Gabby, Shae, Hailey, Sierra and Brooke.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday in the Bryan Funeral Service Historic Hampton Academy located at 108 West Main Street in Plymouth. Mr. Raffael Farrow, Jr. will officiate.  Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Plymouth.

The family will have a floating visitation at the funeral home on Thursday between 2 P.M. and 4 P.M. and formally on Friday morning beginning at 9:30 A.M., prior to the service.
