Adrien F. Davis
February 1, 1954 – November 23, 2020
Adrien Frank Davis, 66, of Plymouth, died, unexpectedly Monday, November 23, 2020, at his residence.
Mr. Davis was born in Washington County on February 1, 1954, to the late Merlin Udee and Edith Marie Rice Davis. He was married to Pamela Hardison Davis who survives.
He honorably served his country in the United States Army, following his discharge from service he worked as a deputy sheriff with Washington County Sheriff Department for several years, and in his later years, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Trader Construction.
He enjoyed hunting, playing the guitar, his cats and was known for his ability to paint.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Pastor Larry Woodley will officiate.
In addition to his wife surviving is a daughter, Holly D. Johnson and husband James of Jamesville; two stepsons, Charles W. Roscoe, Jr. and wife Dawn of Clayton and James Robert Roscoe and wife Amy of Mocksville; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Roscoe, Kayla Roscoe, Blake Roscoe, Zak Frankenfield, Braeden Frankenfield, and Ainsley Roscoe; two brothers Gary Davis of Jamesville, Jimmy Davis of Jamesville; four sisters, Jeannie Baker of Plymouth, Anne Scott of Williamston, Faye Edmondson of Blounts Creek and Gracie Chesson of Plymouth and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Davis.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
