Allen Armstrong
February 28, 1966 – January 24, 2022

Allen Armstrong, 55, of Plymouth, NC, passed away on Monday, January 24. 2022, at his home.

Allen Armstrong was born in Tyrrell County on February 28, 1966, to the late Cannious Alton and Daisy Mae Alexander Armstrong.  He was married to the former, Evelyn Thompson, who survives.

Allen spent his working years as a service manager for a gas company.  He had a talent for being able to fix anything.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Riding his Harley Davidson was a favorite past-time.  He loved squirrels, his five cats, and most of all, his family.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Saints Delight Church of Christ. Chris Grimes will officiate.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Cody Armstrong, of the home, a brother, Charles Armstrong of East Lake, and a sister, Rebecca Armstrong of East Lake.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Cancer Center in Greenville.  Check to be made payable to Vidant Health Foundation, PO Box 8489, Greenville, NC  27835, with “Cancer Center” in the memo.
