The visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene.
Carol June W. Waters
May 25, 1938 – March 9, 2020
Carol June Windom Waters, 81, of Roper, died, Monday, March 9, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Nicholas County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles George and Audra Brown Windom. She was married to William Lloyd “Billy” Waters, Sr., who survives.
She was a faithful member of the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene for over 70 years where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and held various church positions.
Mrs. Waters worked for the Washington County Public School System for over thirty years as an elementary school teacher, and prior to her retirement as the Washington County reading supervisor. She was an avid fan of her Alma mater East Carolina University.
In addition to her husband surviving is a son William Lloyd “Bill” Waters, Jr., and wife Beth of Roper; three granddaughters, Paula Rountree, Hailie Waters, and Darby Waters; Karen Kelsey and husband Jim of Delta, OH whom she loved as a daughter and Godchildren Anthony Kelsey and wife Jessica and Allison McPherson and husband Mikey both of Columbus, OH.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene.
