Charles Lee “Chuck” Davis

Charles Lee “Chuck” Davis, 78, of Swan Quarter, died, Friday, June 18, 2021, at his residence.
Chuck was born in Osage County, Kansas on August 4, 1942, to the late John Clayton and Harriet Rose Davis. He was married to the former Dorothy Modlin who preceded him in death.
For forty-two years he worked in the Seafood Industry for the former Clark’s Marina and most recently for Hobo Seafood.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the family plot in Fulford Cemetery. Pastor Phil Emmert will officiate.
Surviving is a son Clayton Davis and wife Jacqueline of Engelhard; a daughter, Jessica Davis of Swan Quarter; two grandchildren, Emily Victoria De Jesus, and William Clayton Davis; a brother, Robert Davis of Hutchinson, KS; a sister, Jessie Davis of Topeka, KS, and a stepsister, Regina of Kansas City, KS.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Davis; two brothers, John Davis, Clayton Davis; three sisters, Betty Davis, Denetta Davis, and Nancy Davis.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Mrs. Joyce Modlin, 7669 Turnpike Road, Swan Quarter.
