Eddie Wayne Cahoon, “Captain Eddie”, 66, of Swan Quarter, died, unexpectedly at home Thursday, July 1, 2021.
Eddie was born in Tyrrell County, on January 4, 1955, to the late Edmond Luther and Shelby Spring Cahoon.
He was a member of the Swan Quarter Christian Church. He spent most of his working years as a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, and working in his garden.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
Surviving is a daughter; Jocelyn Cherie Cahoon; three granddaughters, Chezney Cherie Herndon, Chaleigh Alexus Smith, and Channa Ashlyn Cahoon all of Brunswick, GA; four sisters, Donna Wray (Billy) of Brunswick, Ga, Vicki Sadler of Swan Quarter, and Denise Douglas of Swan Quarter, and Kimberly Maskell (Mark) of Mebane, NC; one nephew, three nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Scott Sadler, and a nephew, Nick Sadler.
