Herb Myers, 76, of Plymouth, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at his home.

Herb was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on September 4, 1946, to the late Edward Fletcher, and Helen Benton Myers.

His working years were spent as a Plant Manager for GEO Specialty Chemicals. He was a Past Master Mason of Perseverance Lodge #59 A.F. & A.M. He loved to ride his motorcycle and was an avid fisherman.  His grandson was the joy of his life.

Per his wishes, a family gathering to celebrate his life will take place at a later date.

He is survived by his daughter, Courtney M. Harrison, and her husband Anthony of Plymouth; a grandson, Gavin Smithwick of Plymouth; a brother, Edward “Fred” Fletcher Myers, Jr. and wife Diana of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Joan Wiggins of Cochran, GA; his nieces, nephews, and close friends.

In in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Roy Allen Myers and a nephew Barry Lewis Wiggins.
