Jacqueline Harris Wells
May 26, 1939 – December 16, 2020

Jacqueline H. Wells, 81, of Virginia Beach, VA, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020. 

Mrs. Wells was born in Washington, NC on May 26, 1939, the daughter of the late H.H. and Ina (Allen) Harris. She was married to the late William Frank Wells, I on March 10, 1962.

Jackie retired from the Virginia Beach school system after over thirty years as a school bus driver.  She was a very active member of the Carrow Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 18, 2020, at the Davis Cemetery in Pantego, North Carolina.

Family and friends may visit immediately following the service.

She is survived by a daughter, Laura Wells Hodges of Virginia Beach, VA; and a son, William Frank Wells, II and wife Brandy Everette Wells of Clayton, NC; grandchildren, Ashley Hodges Jefferson, Amanda Nicole Hodges, Tyler Frank Wells, Morgan Nicole Wells; one great-grandchild, Maverick Ryan Jefferson; nephews, Gregory Wayland Gibbs, Reginald Hilton Gibbs, and son Jack Whelan Gibbs.

Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her twin sister, Myrtle Jane Gibbs.
