Janice H. Wyant

Janice Faye Hardison Wyant, 76, of Engelhard, died, Friday, March 21, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Janice was born in Beaufort County on May 25, 1948, to the late Beverly Oren and Leona Cahoon Hardison. Janice worked as a cashier for Far Creek Gas and Grill in Engelhard.

She loved baking bread and cakes for the community and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

A gathering with family and friends will take place at her residence at 615 Lazy Lane, Engelhard NC on April 6, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Surviving is a daughter, Renee W. Burns (Kirt) of Engelhard; two sons, Isaac Oren Wyant of Engelhard and Charles Wyant (Shanna) of Fairfield; five grandchildren:  DeAnna Biggs (BJ) of Williamston, Thomas Fisher (Brandy) of Washington, Blaine Mooney, Anisa Money and Ariana Hurst; eleven great grandchildren:  Reagan Fisher, Tyler Fisher, Brooklyn Fisher, Brinlee Fisher, Matthew Reynolds, Josh Reynolds, Haley Reynolds, Allie Snell, Shawn Snell, Emily Biggs and Gracie Biggs; and her significant other Tony Pugh.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Hardison.
