Jimmy R. Deaver
November 30, 1974 – March 25, 2024

Jimmy Ray Deaver, 49, of Columbia, died unexpectedly, on Monday, March 25, 2024, at ECU Health, Greenville.

Jimmy was born in Pasquotank County on November 30, 1974, to the late Donald Ray and Rose Marie Belangia Deaver. For many years he worked as a boat builder.

Jimmy enjoyed fishing and hunting with his best friend Warren Davenport. He had a heart of gold and an abundance of friends who will miss him dearly. Austin was the apple of his eye; he loved spending time with him and making memories.

His services will be announced at a later date.

Surviving is his son, Austin Deaver of Roper; a daughter, Katie M. Furlough of Creswell; two grandchildren, Keagan James and Emma James and a sister, Michelle Belangia of Columbia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Justin Ross Deaver.
