Johnnie Bruce Collier, Jr., 75, of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 11:20 am.

Johnnie Collier, Jr. was born in Halifax County on June 13, 1949, to the late Johnnie Bruce Collier, Sr. He married the former Vickie Harris who preceded him in death.

He spent his working years as a carpenter for Easter Omni Construction. He was a member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church. In his spare time, he loved to spend time visiting his family, especially all his grandkids.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Plymouth. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Soule Cemetery, Swan Quarter, NC.

He is survived by two sons, Jason Collier of Plymouth and Jeffrey Bruce Collier and wife Bridgette of Hobgood; two daughters, Tonya Lee Collier of Plymouth and Angela Dawn Hucks and husband Jeff of Macclesfield; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Brenda Collier Sorrese and husband Lew of Pinehurst, and one brother, Roger Collier of Pleasant Hill, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Eugene Collier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Free Will Baptist Church, 156 Roxie Reese Road, Plymouth, NC 27962.
