Jorge “George” Lopez

Jorge “George” Lopez, 62, of Swan Quarter, died, Friday, June 5, 2020, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

George was born in La Havana, Cuba, on December 3, 1957, to the late Faustino Lopez and Olga Espinoza. He worked in the Agriculture industry as a farmer for the last several years.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the family plot in Soule Cemetery.

Surviving is the love of his life, his wife Zoila Rosales; a son Fabian George Lopez and wife Annais and a daughter, Maggie Lopez de Cubero and husband Julio; four grandchildren, Jazmin Lopez, Fabian Lopez, Annais Lopez, and Matthew Cubero; three sisters, Ivonne Simpson and husband Danny, Caridad Garcia, Lucia Quintana; three brothers, Fabian Lopez, Tony Lopez and Rudy Lopez, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
