Lisa Furlough Latham, 59, of the Pungo Community, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at The Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice.
Mrs. Lisa was born in Washington County on May 17, 1965, to the late Melvin Wayne and Harriet Ann Bray Furlough. She was married to Jeffrey Latham who survives.
She was a member of Pike Road Church of Christ and worked as a teacher's assistant in the kindergarten class at Pungo Christian Academy. Caring for her family and grandchildren was among her favorite things to do as well as gardening and canning with Jeffrey.
A graveside service will be held at 11: 00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the family plot in Davis Cemetery. Rodney Sawyer will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Pike Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband surviving are two sons, Dustin B. Latham (Kristin) of Pantego and Colby L. Latham (Sydney) of Pantego; three grandchildren, Braydin Latham, Corbin Latham, and Rhett Latham and one brother, Steve Furlough of Plymouth.
