September 4, 1953 – May 24, 2021
Liston “Bud” Harris, III, 67, of Swan Quarter, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at his residence.
Bud was born in Beaufort County on September 4, 1953, to the late Liston, Jr. and Zona Brooks Harris. He was married to the former Arlene Simpson who survives.
Bud was a loving person who loved to fish, hunt and listening to music.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the family plot in Soule Cemetery. Raffael Farrow, Jr. and Phil Emmert will officiate.
In addition to his wife of forty-six years, surviving is a son, Christopher Scott “Chris” Harris and wife Harmony of Swan Quarter, grandchildren Mason Leach and Allie Martin; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Ross of Swan Quarter.
He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Williams Everette.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
