Lonnie H. Jackson, III, 59, of Columbia, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Lonnie Jackson, III was born in Richmond County on March 31, 1965, to the late Lonnie H. and Shirley Russell Jackson, Jr.

Lonnie spent thirty years working as a paramedic, caring for others, and most recently worked as a sales consultant for Napa Auto Parts. He was always active, finding something to do and you could catch him with a Mt. Dew in his hand, singing as he worked.  He was a strong supporter of our service men and women.  He never knew a stranger, always had a smile, and loved to make everyone laugh.  He loved his family and will be missed dearly by many.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Albemarle Church of Christ, with Keith Hamm officiating. Interment following at the Albemarle Church of Christ Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Michelle Bateman Jackson; three daughters, Olivia Kate Jackson, Emily Marie Jackson, and Amanda Grace Jackson, all of Lubbock, TX; a son, Johnathan Williams of Creswell; his brother, Russell Scott Jackson and wife Tammy; and niece Megan Jackson, all of Vass, NC.
