LouAnn C. Maxson
August 20, 1954 – May 14, 2024
LouAnn Chambers Maxson, 69 of Columbia passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Forsyth County on August 20, 1954, to Romie R. Chambers who survives, and Juadaine Holder Chambers who preceded her in death. She was married to Joe E. Maxson who also survives.
LouAnn was known first and foremost for her love for Jesus and her desire to share his love with others. She was a faithful member of Cabin Swamp Church of Christ for over 40 years. LouAnn loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. Her laugh was contagious and there is no doubt that her laughter now rings loud and clear in heaven.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Cabin Swamp Church of Christ. Pastor Gregg Brookins will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In addition to her father and husband surviving is a son Corey E. Maxson (Holly) of Wilmington, NC; a daughter, Katie M. Webster (Woody) of Columbia; four grandchildren, Sam Webster, Jack Webster, River Maxson, and Peter Webster; two brothers Tim Chambers (Lori) and Mark Chambers (Dalene) both of Winston Salem.
