Marvin Lee Brooks
March 5, 1941 – December 2, 2020

Marvin Lee Brooks, 79, of Swan Quarter, died, Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Mr. Brooks was born in Hyde County on March 5, 1941, to the late Leslie Merritt and Maggie Lee Jones Brooks.  He was married to Glenda Cahoon Brooks who survives.

During his working years, Marvin worked as a commercial fisherman.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family.  Mr. Brooks was a member of the Swan Quarter Christian Church.

Per his request, no services will be scheduled.

In addition to his wife, surviving is a son, Gregory Allen Brooks and wife Eyleen of Swan Quarter, and granddaughter, Summer Gale Cahoon and husband Bryson of Swan Quarter.  He is also survived by two brothers, William Brooks and wife Lois of Swan Quarter and Billy Brooks of Swan Quarter.

He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Lee Brooks, and brothers, Tommy Brooks and Leslie Jr. Brooks.
