Maureen Piccininni Barriteau,62, of Engelhard, died on Friday, April 25, 2025, at ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville.
Maureen was born in Hudson County, New Jersey, on October 11, 1962, to the late Francis and Grace Smith Piccininni.

Surviving is her lifetime companion, Gary Privett; two sons, Devon Jenson and Gabriel Sostre Piccininni; two daughters, Margaret Piccininni and Tanya Piccininni; seven grandchildren, Naisha Maldonado-Piccininni, Ariana Maldonado-Santiago, Tanya Zamora, Sofia Sostre, Hirangelis Sostre, Jayden Santiago, and Katalina Cabezudo; and two great-grandchildren, Danaska Maldonado Piccininni and Bella Maldonado Piccininni.
She was preceded in death by a son, Emanuel Sostre Piccininni; a daughter, Michele Santiago; a brother, Alan Ponte; and a sister, Michele Hogan.
