Mildred B. Potter

Mildred Beacham Potter, 80, of Plymouth, died, Monday, February 15, 2021, at Carrolton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Plymouth, NC.
She was born in Beaufort County on August 11, 1940, to the late Josh T. and Nancy Heath Beacham. She was married to Paul Potter who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Mildred was a retired Nursing Assistant, II, she was very proud of her career and always said that it was her calling in life. She loved collecting dolls, auctions, flea markets, yard sales and doing things for her family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, at the Plymouth Church of Christ. Pastor James Owens will officiate.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Surviving is a son, Todd Moore (Joy) of Pinetown; two daughters, Melissa M. Buck (Doug Swain) of Plymouth and Catherine M. Cox (Darren) of Colerain; six grandchildren, Reid Radcliffe (Penelope), Hannah M. Torres (Justin), Kaliff Moore (Savannah), Josh Moore (Katie), Zackery Moore and Emma Buck; eight great-grandchildren, Macy Radcliffe, Caden Hall, Tyler Radcliffe, Ethan Skinner, Chloe Jones, Mckinley Moore, Raelyn Moore, and CoraLeigh Moore, and one sister, Hazel “Duck” Midgette of Plymouth.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Keith Moore; two sisters, Nancy V. B. Shackleford, Martha Elle B. Boyd, and four brothers, Franklin A. Beacham, J.T. Beacham “Junior”, William D. “Skinner” Beacham, and Fletcher Ray Beacham.
Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service at Hampton Academy, Plymouth.
