Mollie Stotesberry Harrison, 67, of the Ponzer Community, died, Monday, May 27, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

Born in Beaufort County, April 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Morris Stotesberry. She was married to John Melvin “Butch” Harrison, Jr., who survives.

She was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the family plot in Davis Cemetery. Mike Cayton will officiate.

In addition to her husband, surviving is a son Melvin Harrison and wife, Victoria of Roper; a daughter, Joanna H. Logan and husband, Tracy of Belhaven; six grandchildren, Brittany Logan, Gabby Logan, Destiny Harrison, Mackenzie Harrison, Dakota Harrison and Madison Harrison; one great-grandchild, Bailey Logan; two brothers, Wilbur Stotesberry of West Point, VA, Gilbert Stotesberry of Belhaven, and one sister, Geraldine Cale of Colerain.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Burley Stotesberry and Roland Stotesberry, and a half-sister, Nelly Gray Knight.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to go toward medical expenses.
