Ned Thomas Brickhouse
September 10, 1958 – October 23, 2022

Ned Thomas Brickhouse, 64, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at ECU Health-Chowan Hospital.

Ned Thomas Brickhouse was born in Tyrrell County on September 10, 1958, to the late Joseph Thomas and Eunice Marie Jones Brickhouse.

His life career was with the North Carolina Forest Service for thirty years, retiring as a District Ranger.  Ned enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, farming, napping, and fighting fires.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the Bryan Funeral Service chapel in Columbia.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Soundside Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Royce Reynolds.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Tracey Brickhouse; sons Brandan Todd Brickhouse (Jessica) of Wanchese, Brandon Ewing Brickhouse (Jennifer) of Columbia, and Justin Sinclair Brickhouse (Stacy) of Greenville; daughters:  Amy B. Viverette (Adam) of Greenville, and Sarah Mokey (Jonathan) of Manteo; grandchildren:  Jordan Barnes (Kylie), Lillian Mokey, Carmen Mokey, Audrey Brickhouse, Payton Viverette, London Brickhouse, Jonathan Mokey, Jr., Finn Viverette, Ava Brickhouse, and Sawyer Brickhouse; great-grandchild: Arlene Thomas Barnes; his sisters: Sheila Reynolds, Marie Armstrong, and Monica Liverman, all of Columbia; nieces and nephews:  Hank Reynolds, Corey Haney, Sonny Reynolds, Casey Council, Teresa Reynolds, Adam Armstrong, and Mallory Phelps; and Soundside Free Will Baptist Church family.
